A Plan to WIN in 2010
Wednesday, January 6th, 2010Happy New Years everyone! Well, I had a wonderful holiday break. However, now it is time to develop a winning plan for 2010. I must begin to brainstorm on paper what I would like to see happen this year. I encourage you to do so as well. The brainstorm will allow you to develop goals to accomplish for this year. It is important that we all establish long and short term goals. Short term goals are tasks that can be completed within three years. Long term goals are tasks or desires that we want to be achieved three years and beyond. So, take out a sheet of paper and divide the sheet into two columns with short term goals on one side and long term goals on the other. Begin to jot down what you want to accomplish within three years and those goals that may take longer than three years. Also, begin to think about the small steps it may take to achieve those goals. It is important that we think about our goals and write down ideas so that they can have a higher possibility of being achieved. Well, this is a start. I will be back son to talk about additional important steps to goal setting. Thank you for tunjing in. I’ll be back in another week to continue with this dialogue. Take care!
